Download complete; dvd data disk burnt with the mpeg-2 file of Little Lord Fauntleroy. It is 3.90 GB in size. The download was started at 3am with a data rate of 100kb/sec and getting faster. It was completed at 10:30 am with a data rate of 155 Kb/sec and slowing down.
That is the pits. You have to be some kind of nut to do it.
It didn't time out because I used the PC several times during the download to make sure it knew I was still there. E-Mail was accessed and a web page or two; then, I went back to bed, again and again.

Why can't we just order a stack of these movies as mpeg-2 data disks on DVD and be done with it?

If you want a copy of my DVD data disk, not a dvd, please provide a like size movie for me. I already have Oliver Twist, Night of the Living Dead, some Tarzan movies and most of the A's in Feature Films.

Little Lord Fauntleroy had been disabled because the one that I uploaded was under copyright. I will try to find in my hundreds of encrypted boxes a public domain version. That is the problem with getting material from old hard drives, DVDs, and CDs and from other places. I thought that since it was made in 1915 it would be PD.
